Pioneer Day

My 24th of July had a rough start! I was suppose to meet at my parent's house @ 7:50 to go to the parade and my alarm didn't go off! AHHH, so needless to say Riley did not look how I would have preferred and I was a little bit grumpy at first but we made it in the nick of time to the parade!
See, don't I look so happy? I really wasn't that bad I just didn't know this picture was being taken. We have always gone to the parade with my mom's side of the family. It is a fun tradition and makes me miss my grandparents so much, but I still love to go.
Then we went swimming. It was so fun but reminded me why I love my little quiet pool we usually go to! Riley was everywhere and so hard to keep track of. This is my sweet mom and Boston just chilling in the wading pool.
Ashley, Brynn and Riley
The whole gang sitting on the lawn eating and talking.
After all this we went to my parent's for a BBQ, games and fireworks. We had such a fun night but my camera battery died so I wasn't able to get any pics :(

BOATING

I know I have been posting a ton lately, but summer seems to be really busy for us and there are a lot of things I want to make sure I get on here, if anything just for me!
Jason got to be a human tube, we were going really fast dragging him along on the surfboard. I just closed my eyes cause it scared me to death!
This picture I put on here hoping that it will make my hubby not want to pull any more funny faces in pictures! Me and Jas just chillin on the boat!
I LOVE to wakeboard. It is my favorite thing ever. I did crash really hard this time though, but I still love it.
Jason is really pretty good at wakeboarding, he got some pretty good air this trip.
We had so much fun and I can't wait to go again!

OUR CraZy WEEKEND

Okay, well here is how it goes...
First, Friday night Jason and I decided we needed to celebrate our anniversary. So we thought it would be fun to head to PF Changs...sort of got a late start and ended up at Tepanyaki. Still fun, and fabulous I LOVE Tepanyaki. Jason was too big of a chicken to ask anyone to take a picture of us (I must have been too or I would have done it!) so this is what we ended up with. I was really bugged just ask him, but I wanted a picture and he says I got one :) Jason's parents were nice enough to take the kids overnight for us so then Saturday morning I got to sleep in, yes, that's right I slept until 9:30 I don't know the last time I did that! Saturday was spent just relaxing and doing nothing without the kids. We did go to lunch at Tony's which was super good, and then we went and picked up the kids. Thanks Curt and Robyn I needed that!
Then, Saturday night I stayed up cleaning because my house needed some serious attention! Ended up doing laundry and cleaning until 3:00 am. I used to do this all the time when I was working but it has been a while, I kind of liked it I think I will go back to that. This leads into my great picture you see here. Sunday night Jason's family invited us up to the fireworks at the college. I was really tired but I love fireworks so we went anyway! It decided to rain for a minute so Jason ran and got our umbrella this is what happened because of the wind. Normally this wouldn't have been so funny to me but keep in mind I was very tired. I laughed about it for quite some time!
Throughout all this MiKayla had nicely put Boston back into his car seat to get him out of the rain. I put him up on one of the camp chairs with a blanket over him and had to run down to the car to get something. I asked Jason if he would hold on to the car seat to be sure my precious baby boy didn't fall off the chair. Oops I forgot that he wasn't buckled in. While I was gone he managed to finagle out of the chair (which he does all the time, normally he is on the ground though) and fell onto the ground :( poor little guy. He was fine though, but it topped off my funny night! Anyway, it was a fun weekend and I loved it!

WHAT'S A GIRL TO DO?

This is what happens when you lose your mind! Jason has been working a lot lately (which I completely understand and I am so grateful for his job) but I feel like I am going crazy! Yes, this is a casserole dish full of stuffed pasta shells. Somehow it managed to slip out of the fridge right after I put it in and shatter into a million pieces, and yes I sat on the floor and cried before I cleaned it up. Just a little bit about my life right now! Someday I will laugh at this time in my life I am sure, someday.

Marsh Lake

Brooklyn and Kim invited us to go camping up to Marsh Lake over this last weekend. We had a blast. I love camping and everything about it...except...there were mosquitoes like crazy! I wish you could see that we all look like we have the chicken pox in these pictures. Regardless, it was still fun!
Jason and his perfect marshmallow. He is notorious for roasting marshmallows to perfection, he made me at least 10 of them!
Me and my favorite little guy! He was such a trooper even though he was stuck in a pack and play all weekend. It was Jason and I's 7th anniversary so we had to take an anniversary picture.
Yes Brooklyn I really put you on my blog! Brooklyn, Kim and Bridger.
Riley and Jason taking off for a ride on the four wheeler.
Preston and Riley love each other, we are so lucky they get along so well.

THROUGH THE YEARS

Happy 7th anniversary Jas! I love you and I am so lucky to have spent the last seven years with you in my life. I am so grateful for the life we have created together, we have two beautiful kids and our own little family. We have come so far, I couldn't ask for more. I look forward to forever! Here are some pics of us "Through the Years".

FOURTH OF JULY!!!!

Our day always begins @ 7:00 am at Jeremiah's! This is Boston, I think he enjoyed his breakfast more than anyone and he didn't even order off the menu!
Our little family outside of Jeremiah's
Then we head to the parade and our city's festivities for a little bit. Riley and MaKenzie ran in the race as did all the kids and J.R.
This is Riley participating in the sawdust hunt. She was so cute, she dug and dug and dug some more would take her stuff to Jason and go back to dig!
Then we went back to our house for a BBQ and some water games. Normally the adults play water games too...but the morning scared us all off due to the weather, by the time we got eating it was beautiful and we all wished we had our suits! This is Preston on the slip 'n' slide...his dad left for a second and told us he wouldn't like the splashing stuff...a minute later here he was! So much for that.
The kids in the little pool, they loved it!
Then it was off to the fireworks. So much fun I love summer and fireworks I could go everyday. This is Jason's sister MiKayla and her friend Kennedy with Boston.
Riley, Granna and Pappa at the fireworks.
It was a great but VERY VERY long day! Our kids woke up way early that morning and were going on no naps! I love the Fourth of July!
