Tagged 4th Folder 4th Picture

So Kara tagged me! This is my hubby and I in Las Vegas last summer for our 6th anniversary. It was the middle of July and I was pretty prego. We had so much fun, and nothing beats the stares you get when you are pregnant and in Vegas! I have done it with both of my kids! I love going with Jason and just being together. He is a very good host when he plans a vacation and I always look forward to them! Thanks again Jas, I love you.
I tag...Crystal, Malissa, Ally, Penni and Alicia (and whoever else wants to!!)

"We are just watching them for you Grandma"

This is pretty funny, almost hysterical especially if they are not your kids. I was telling Amber Jo about this and she said I should blog about it even though I don't have pictures...so I am. Last Sunday we were at my parents for dinner (as usual) and the three girls, Ashley, Brynn and Riley were outside playing. They had some water bottles and when I asked them where they got them from they told me they were just out there, so, I went back inside. I have explained about my Diet Dr. Pepper obsession in a previous post so I won't go there, but, I had one for dinner and later that night when I went back out to get one they were gone. We were all pretty sure there were like five of them out there and we were wondering where they had gone to. The next Wed we were over at my mom's again and the girls were out playing. When we went outside to get them we found at least ten empty water bottles laying all over the ground. My mom and dad had recently bought a 24 pack of water, 3 of which were left! We also found several Diet Dr. Pepper's hidden all over the yard. Penni and her girls left to go home and I stayed at my mom's to hang out. Later my mom and I decided that we would go see what else they had been up to...this is what we found...a cooler (which was once empty) they had dumped water (we are guessing from the water bottles) into it and pulled the fish from the ponds which are in the back yard. The fish were dead before hand but they had pulled them out with the tongs for the grill. When asked what they were thinking this was Ashley's reply "We were just watching them for you Grandma!!" So hilarious. Penni was not near as amused as my mom and I were. But it was so funny. As a mother of helper of such a naughty scheme I still find it funny!

Feedin' the Ducks!!

Last Friday the kiddies and I packed up and went to lunch with our good friends Kim (who is very soon to be in labor!!) and Preston. Riley loves Preston and thinks she is his mom most of the time. We joke that they treat each other like brother and sister because they are together so much! Anyway, we had such a good time at Wingers and after we went over and fed the ducks. It was nice to get out and enjoy the sun. Preston had so much fun he didn't want to leave. We love getting together with them and we are so excited for their new addition baby Bridger to come.

How could it be??? Riley is three

Riley shares her birthday with my cousin Jesse. It is really strange because they share this really cute bond. She loves him and has since she was tiny. When she was a baby she used to just smile and laugh at him. This is her and Jesse on their birthday out at Jesse's house for his party. They are so sweet and do a little cupcake and sing to her as well. It is a fun tradition.
Riley and MaKenzie enjoying the cake scraps!!
The finished product. My cute little ballerina
Riley turned three on the 3rd of this month. I am a little late posting this but we just barely did her party tonight. She wanted a ballerina party! This was a hard theme. There isn't much for ballerina parties online or in any of the stores. So...I did this cake that Crystal gave me the idea for, it was so much fun and thanks to my mom and sister it was a darling success. I decided to just go with pink, black and white for the colors. We bought Riley a little ballerina outfit and she looked adorable. She got a ton of fun things and is the most spoiled little girl around. She stinks too. Let me tell you. But we love her and wouldn't trade her for the world. Thank you everyone for your love and support for our little ballerina! Happy birthday Riley we love you so so much.

Boston's First Solids

So we decided to go ahead and start Boston on solids. I have since decided to wait. We tried for three days and he doesn't really care for it. He is still a tad young so I will try again later. But I thought these pics were too cute not to share.
