Dear Dryer

Please...please...please don't be broken.  I have enough laundry to do when you are working, if you are broken I don't know what I will do. Just dry my clothes, please!!! That's all.

What am I going to do?

What a cutie pie!!

I just can't put into words how much I love this little girl.  She is so sweet and special and means so much to our family. This is a picture of her in one of her birthday outfits hanging out with her IPOD.  She is such a little diva!

Diesel

We have this addition to our family...for a couple weeks at least! His name is Diesel.  He is a Rottweiler and he really belongs to my brother, but he isn't allowed at my mom and dad's so I said he could stay here until T.J. figures out where he is going to live.  He is sort of a cute little bugger...while he is little that is.

St. Patricks Day

I am so lucky to have this great group of ladies that I get together with every month for card swap :) It is a bunch of people I have grown up with that mean to so much to me, and I always look forward to it.  This last month happened to fall on St. Patrick's Day so we thought we would take a "Green" group picture! We have green sherbet floats and green cookies! A big thanks to Crystal for the yummy treats. Love you ladies.

Because I hated it

Our blog is now public again...I hated being private, such a pain! So wahoo!! I am now public (not that anyone really cares) but much nicer for me...I miss comments and when I went private there were next to no comments. Please interact with me!

BIG PROBLEM!!

So my friend Shayla that I work with did a post about this and I thought I would jump on the bandwagon! We have this cupboard at work we call the "treat cupboard".  Let me just tell you how much I love it! Well, Charlie (my boss) decided he would bring in these chips. Shayla has had them before but it was a first for me and I must say....

I am in love with them!!!!!

THE NAUGHTIEST SANTA EVER!

This morning while I was getting ready for the day (okay it was like 11:00, but give me a break I have two kids) Riley and Boston were playing together.  This is nothing new, they do really well together for the most part.  I have to take baths a  lot of the time because I have to keep an eye on Boston while I am in there or when I get out I am very very sorry.  While I was bathing I hear Riley say "Santa...my baby needs a doll" and then I here Boston come charging through on his train saying "Okay Riley....Ho Ho Ho" Yes, they were pretending that Boston was Santa! Oh Heaven help us! There is no way Boston could be Santa he is way too naughty! But I thought it was too cute not to mention...what imaginations they have.

Small Warning

If you are letting your kids pretend to put make-up on you....be sure the item they are using is really gone! I thought my eyeliner was all out so I was letting them pretend, and this is what I saw hours later when I looked in the mirror! Yikes. (ps. ignore my eyes we are having some contact issues!)

Let Them Be Little

I just wanted to share a little tidbit on our family at the moment. For the last two months Boston has decided he will no longer sleep in his room.  He has to sleep in Riley's bed and of course Riley ends up in our bed so that now means that Boston ends up in our bed. Between getting up and taking them back 5-7 times a night (most nights) and the nights I just give in and let them sleep with us I am pretty sure I am averaging about 4 hours of sleep at night. Let them be little right? Keep reminding me...PLEASE!!!

The Punkinaze

For Riley's first field trip we went to the Punkinaze! It was so much fun.  She loved it, I had taken Boston and had a hard time getting him to go home.  He wanted to keep going down the huge slide.  Jason was able to come for a few minutes since it was right by his work and Riley loved having her "daddy" there.

A LOT TO BLOG ABOUT

I am catching my second wind on blogging! I have missed it so and have a new goal to take more pictures and be better at it.  If not for me for my kids, this is really the only way I keep track of what happens in our lives.  A few things have gone on:

  • Boston turned two (not sure why his ticker says 3???)
  • I had another birthday I finally turned 21!
  • Riley started a new year of preschool and dance
  • Halloween has come and gone
  • I started at a new branch
  • Jason bought a new business cleaning garbage cans
  • We had a crazy but fun summer with not near enough swimming
  • Many many other things have happened but I can't think of them all!
Anyway, this is my new beginning and I am so excited! My sweet cousin Kaesy always sparks something in me...Thanks Kaes for keeping me motivated!

Family Drives

One of our favorite things to do as a family is go for a drive.  We usually head up the divide and then over Trappers loop, and up through Snow Basin, then back down Ogden Canyon.  We have seen quite a few animals one night we saw two moose right off the road about a mile apart.  We also always see turkeys and some little furry things sit on the rocks all the time (we aren't exactly sure what they are!)  The kids love the waterfall so one day we thought we would stop and get a picture.

Heaven Help Me

This is the blurry picture so you don't see all my unmentionables!

This is how I found the monkey one day while I was cleaning...he had pulled every single item out of my top drawer and climbed right up to watch some TV.  I cannot take my eyes off him for a second! He is always into something!

JUST MY SIZE

We had been wanting to take the kids fishing so badly, but we weren't exactly sure how it would go...luckily Jas had most Saturdays off lately :) So we decided to head up to East Canyon a couple weeks ago and try it out.
It ended up being a fun adventure! Boston just wanted to play in the water the whole time and Riley was the only one to get a fish. Last time she caught a fish she was terrified of it so she promised Jas that she wouldn't be scared this time.  She was so excited and kept saying that this little fish was "just her size"! She was so cute.
P.S. I did get a picture of Riley and her fish but I couldn't get it to flip...so maybe I will post it later!!!
