No One Told Me....

So here's the deal. No one warned me that being a mother of two was a lot more difficult than just being a mother of one! Actually, I think I did have some warning. So here is my story...yesterday I needed to run to Standard Optical to get my glasses fixed and order contacts before my insurance is done. So I decided to enlist my mom for some help since I have yet to venture out with both of my kids. I told her I would be over to her house around 11:30 and we would head out. I started getting ready at about 8:00 thinking I would have plenty of time!! Next I got Riley ready which went pretty smoothly. At about 10:30 I fed Boston and went in to change his diaper and get him dressed. While I was burping him he spit up, or should I say threw up all over me and Riley, after cleaning this up I went in and began to change his diaper during this he peed all over three times (even through the pee cones Crystal gave me) as well as pooped all over his new outfit and the changing table. In the process of trying to clean this up Riley decided she wanted to help by getting into everything in the dressing table. The baby powder, but cream, wipies you name it she was trying to give it to me. Needless to say we showed up to my mom's around 12:30. This is how my life has been. I love every minute of it but it can be very stressful!

BOSTON'S HERE!!!

Our sweet baby boy Boston Nate was born on October 1st at 9:01 pm. I had gone to my appointment that morning at 10:00 am and I was still only a two. They gave me the option of being starte d so I decided to take it since my doctor was out of town until the 7th and her replacement (who delivered Riley because my doctor was out of town then as well!) was leaving the next night to go out of town. So we took it, we went in that day at 12:30 and the rest is history. He is so fun and alert. We love him. Riley is super attatched and if she can't see him she is sure to find out where he is! She is a great big sister and has been so cute with him.
